STUDENT BRANCH ACTIVITIES

IEEE is interested in the educational and professional development of the members. It has the student membership category, which is focused at the undergraduates and graduate students. A student taking 50% coursework is eligible for enlisting as a student member.

As at the last quarter of 2002, there are nine IEEE approved Student Branches in the Section. This number excludes the branches that are still to be formally recognized by the IEEE Headquarters.
